Pro Account questions
Who qualifies for a Pro Account?
Auto body shops, collision centers, paint & refinish shops, custom paint shops, detailers, mechanics, and aftermarket fabricators. We also approve sole-proprietor painters and detailers with a valid business tax ID. DIY enthusiasts should buy through the standard retail flow — we still offer free shipping over $99.
How long does approval take?
1–2 business days from when you submit the application. We’ll reply to your email with either an approval (and a link to set your password) or a few clarifying questions if anything’s missing.
How much do I save on Pro pricing?
Discounts are tiered by monthly volume, ranging from 5% to 15% off retail. Tiers are reviewed quarterly based on actual orders. You’ll see your tiered prices reflected when logged into your Pro Account — no codes needed.
How does Net 30 work?
Approved Pro Accounts can choose Net 30 invoicing at checkout. Orders ship right away; you receive a monthly statement covering all orders that month. Payment due 30 days from statement date via ACH, check, or card. We start most shops on a credit limit of $2,500 and adjust upward as orders prove out.
Do you ship hazmat / regulated products?
Yes. We ship hazmat liquids and aerosols via ground freight only (UPS/FedEx). A per-piece carrier surcharge applies; we coordinate this on your behalf. Hazmat orders ship from our authorized US facility. CARB / SCAQMD / Prop 65 compliance is honored where applicable — we won’t accidentally ship a non-compliant product to a regulated state.
Can I get tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes — upload your resale tax certificate after your account is approved (or check the box on the application). We’ll mark your account tax-exempt for qualifying ship-to states. You’re responsible for ensuring the certificate is valid where products are delivered.
Can multiple people in my shop have accounts?
Today the main account is held by one contact, with order notification cc’ed to additional emails. Multi-user accounts with separate logins are on our roadmap — if you need this now, contact your rep and we’ll set up a workaround.
Can I cancel / pause my Pro Account?
Of course — just email support@autofxmart.com. There’s no commitment, no contract, no minimum order. Pro pricing simply stops applying. Any open Net 30 invoices are still due per their original terms.
