3M Platinum 31131 Body Filler is a high‑strength, lavender‑colored paste designed for fast, reliable repair of automotive panels. It is formulated for filling dents, scratches, and surface imperfections before sanding and painting, providing a smooth, sandable substrate for final finish work.
The filler adheres to a wide range of substrates—including ABS, aluminum, bare metal, e‑coat, fiberglass, FRP, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, primer, SMC, and steel—allowing up to 10–13 coats per application without sagging. Its low‑shrink, high‑fill properties reduce the need for multiple rebuild cycles, improving shop efficiency.
Safety is addressed with a “Warning” signal word and multiple GHS hazards. Use eye protection, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well‑ventilated area.
