EVERCOAT® 100730 Super Build Polyester Primer is a 1‑gal round‑can, gray primer formulated for high‑build applications on fiberglass, polyester, SMC, wood and previously primed surfaces. It is mixed at a 4:1 resin‑to‑hardener ratio and provides approximately 1,200 sq‑ft per gallon when applied at the recommended film thickness.
The primer offers excellent adhesion to the listed substrates and builds a uniform, moisture‑resistant film that prepares the surface for subsequent coating layers. Its high solids content reduces the number of build coats required, improving efficiency in body shop workflows.
Due to its classification as acute toxic, carcinogenic, flammable, and an oxidizer, proper personal protective equipment is mandatory: wear eye protection, chemical‑resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator. Use in a well‑ventilated area and follow the first‑aid procedures outlined in the SDS.
