3M 05800 Lightweight Body Filler is a one-quart, blue/gray paste formulated for rapid repair of automotive panels. It is designed for body shop technicians who need a high-strength filler that can be sanded and painted with minimal weight addition.
The filler adheres to a wide range of substrates-including aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, plastic, polyester, primer, SMC, and standard steel-providing versatile application across most repair scenarios. Its lightweight formulation reduces material buildup while maintaining structural integrity, allowing efficient build-up and finishing.
Handle with appropriate personal protective equipment: eye protection, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator are required. Use in a well-ventilated area; the product has a flash point of 111 °C and carries multiple GHS hazards, including acute toxicity and flammability (H226, H242, H303, H313, H316, H317, H319, H320).
