USC® 16060 Lightweight Base Coat/Clearcoat Extra Filler is a one-part, yellow-gold liquid designed for high-build filler applications on automotive panels. It provides both base coat color and clearcoat protection in a single step, ideal for repairing dents, scratches, and surface imperfections before final topcoats.
Formulated to cure at an average application temperature of 210 °F, the coating delivers rapid flash time and efficient film formation across a wide range of substrates, including ABS, aluminum, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, polyester, primer, SMC, wood, and standard automotive steel. The low VOC content (225 g/L) helps meet environmental regulations while maintaining excellent fill capacity and smooth finish.
Safety compliance requires the use of eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas. The product has a flash point of 93.9 °F (34.4 °C) and carries a "Warning" signal word due to acute toxicity, flammability, and other listed hazards.
