Application Guide
- Ensure substrate is clean and properly prepared. Compatible with e-coat and polyester substrates.
- Mix activator with HIT.8550-1 base material according to manufacturer's ratio specifications. Use mixed material within 30-45 minutes pot life at 72°F (22.2°C) and 50% relative humidity.
- Apply first coat at 1 mil thickness. Product provides coverage of 450 sq. ft. per gallon at 1 coat at 1 mil.
- Allow 25 minutes dry time between coats.
- Apply second coat following same thickness guidelines.
- Allow 25 minutes dry time before applying final coat.
- Apply third coat to complete the 3-coat system.
