HOUSE OF KOLOR® KD3001-Q01 is a high- to medium-build DTS primer surfacer/sealer supplied in a 1 qt can. It is formulated for rapid fill and leveling on a wide range of substrates, making it suitable for body shop applications that require a smooth, paint-ready surface before topcoat application.
The low-VOC formulation (2.1 lb/gal or 250 g/L) meets compliance standards while delivering consistent build across three coats as recommended. It adheres to aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastic, polyester primer, and standard steel surfaces, providing flexibility for mixed-material repairs.
Safety is critical: the product carries a "Warning" signal word with acute toxicity, aspiration hazard, carcinogen, oxidizer, and skin corrosion classifications. Use eye protection, gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well-ventilated area. The flash point is 12 °C (54 °F), requiring appropriate fire safety measures.
