HOUSE OF KOLOR® SHIMRIN2® S2-25-Q01 is a universal solid basecoat formulated for jet-black finishes on automotive panels. It is designed for use in professional body shop spray booths where consistent color and adhesion are required across e-coat, fiberglass, OEM, polyester, and primer substrates.
The system delivers 2 medium coats per application with an overall coverage of two full coats when applied at the recommended thickness. Its low VOC rating of 5.8 lb/gal (700 g/L) meets U.S. compliance standards, and the basecoat's flash point of 16 °C (3 °F) supports rapid handling in controlled environments. Apply 2-3 medium coats of SHIMRIN2® as directed for optimal film build before topcoat.
