Zincweld™ 40773 Weld-Through Primer is a high-performance, silver-toned primer designed for direct application over bare metal and existing primers in automotive collision repair. It provides a conductive base that supports subsequent coating systems while offering excellent adhesion to steel substrates.
Each 16 oz container delivers approximately 19 sq-ft of coverage, allowing efficient material usage on typical panel repairs. The formulation is engineered for weld-through applications, ensuring consistent performance under high-temperature welding conditions without compromising primer integrity.
Due to its hazardous classification-including acute toxicity, carcinogenicity, and flammability-use requires a respirator and adequate ventilation. Follow all H-statements (H222, H280, H315, H317, H319, H336, H340, H350) and standard first-aid procedures for inhalation, skin, and eye exposure.
