High Teck™ 4160 Premium Polyester Finishing Putty is a liquid, beige‑colored filler designed for smooth, high‑quality finishes on automotive body panels. It is formulated for use on a wide range of substrates, including aluminum, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM panels, plastic, polyester, and SMC, making it suitable for most repair and refinishing applications.
The putty offers a rapid cure with a pot life of 4–5 minutes at 68 °F when mixed with 2 % hardener, allowing technicians to work efficiently without excessive flash time. Its polyester base provides excellent adhesion and sandability, delivering consistent coverage for precise surface preparation before painting.
Due to its acute toxicity, flammability, and skin‑corrosive properties, proper personal protective equipment is required: eye protection, protective clothing, and a respirator. Use in a well‑ventilated area and follow the H‑statements (H226, H315, H319, H332, H372, H373) for safe handling.
