Dual-Mix™ rigid urethane foam is a two component, urethane, expanding foam for filling pillars, posts, and box sections.
Dual-Mix™ 39997 is a 7 oz cartridge of rigid urethane foam designed for structural fill and reinforcement in automotive body repair. The two-component system expands rapidly to create a hard, durable core that restores lost volume on OEM panels, plastic components, and other compatible substrates.
The formulation offers a short flash time of 45 seconds at 70 °F (21 °C) and reaches full cure in 15 minutes under the same conditions, allowing fast turnaround in high-volume shops. Its rigid matrix provides excellent dimensional stability and resistance to compression set, making it suitable for load-bearing repairs.
Due to acute toxicity, carcinogenicity, and skin/eye hazards, proper personal protective equipment is required: chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, protective clothing, and a respirator. Apply in a well-ventilated area and follow the H-statements (H315, H317, H319, H332, H334, H335, H351, H373) for safe handling.

Application Guide
- Ensure the substrate (OEM or plastic) is clean, dry, and free of contaminants before application.
- Activate the cartridge by dispensing the two components; mix directly in the nozzle. The mixture remains workable for approximately 45 seconds at 70°F (21°C).
- Apply the foam in a single continuous coat to fill the required area, working quickly within the 45-second work window.
- Allow the material to cure for 15 minutes at 70°F (21°C) before handling or proceeding with any secondary operations.
