Ultra Flex™ seam sealer is a rapid curing, flexible seam sealer designed for all types of painted surfaces, bare metal and primed surfaces.
TRANSTAR Ultra Flex™ 4157 Seam Sealer is a high-performance, pasty solid sealant designed for automotive seam and joint applications where long-term durability and flexibility are required.
The formulation offers low VOC at 254 g/L and a shelf life of 12 months. It adheres to a wide range of substrates including aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, primer, SMC, and standard steel, providing reliable bonding in mixed-material repairs. The product is supplied in an 11 oz cartridge for precise metering.
Due to its classification as acute toxic, carcinogenic, and oxidizing, use requires full PPE: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas. Follow H-statements H228, H315, H317, H320, H350, H361, and H373 for safe handling.
