E-COAT#12 is a corrosion resistant, color matched coating that restores the original appearance and gloss of factory ecoat. Use E-COAT #12 on any e-coated panel, vehicle floor, engine bay, cross members, core supports, door skins. ECOAT #12 can be used as a DTM primer or as a single coating to match the OEM finish.

U-POL E-COAT#12 UP0893 is a ready-to-use repair aerosol designed to restore electrocoat primer on automotive substrates. This beige-colored coating provides 59 square feet of coverage per 450 mL can, making it an efficient solution for spot repairs and panel preparation work in collision repair applications.

The aerosol applies effectively across a wide range of substrates including steel, aluminum, galvanized metal, fiberglass, SMC, and existing OEM finishes. With an application temperature range of 40°F to 78°F, technicians can achieve proper adhesion in typical shop conditions. The product requires 1-2 coats for optimal coverage and provides excellent corrosion protection equivalent to factory electrocoat systems.

Apply in well-ventilated areas using appropriate respiratory protection and follow standard paint booth safety protocols. The aerosol format eliminates mixing requirements and provides consistent spray pattern for professional results on both small repair areas and larger panel sections.
