U-POL RAPTOR UP4885 is a 2K polyurethane bedliner formulated for spray-on application from a 13.2 oz aerosol can. It provides a durable, high-build protective coating for truck beds, trailers, and other flat surfaces where impact resistance and chemical durability are required.
Each can covers approximately 14.5 sq-ft with two coats applied at the recommended flash-off temperature of 68 °F (20 °C). The formulation cures to full hardness within 5-7 days, delivering a seamless film that adheres to aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, polyester, primer, SMC, and wood. This broad substrate compatibility eliminates the need for separate primers on most common body shop materials.
Handling requires full PPE: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas. How to Use
For both consumers and professionals
- Clean and degrease the substrate; remove rust, oil, and loose material. Verify compatibility (e.g., aluminum, bare metal, fiberglass, etc.).
- Ensure ambient temperature is at least 68 °F (20 °C) before application.
- Shake the aerosol can for 30-60 seconds, then spray the first coat evenly to achieve a thin, uniform film.
- Allow flash time as specified by the product (minimum flash-off at 68 °F). Do not recoat until the surface is dry to touch.
- Apply the second coat using the same technique, overlapping each pass for full coverage.
- Let the coating cure for 5-7 days before exposing it to service conditions.
