3M 58115 is a two-part panel bonding adhesive supplied in a 450 mL cartridge of viscous black liquid. It is designed for structural repairs and panel replacements where a high-strength, durable bond is required on a variety of automotive substrates.
The formulation provides a 90-minute work time, allowing ample assembly before the cure begins. It bonds to ABS, aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, FRP, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, primer, SMC and standard steel surfaces, making it suitable for most panel repair applications. The adhesive's low viscosity ensures complete wetting of complex joint geometries and consistent coverage across the bonding area.
Use in a well-ventilated area with appropriate personal protective equipment: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator are required due to acute toxicity, aspiration hazard, and skin corrosion potential. The closed-cup flash point is 110 °C; handle according to the SDS recommendations.
