3M Windo-Weld 08610 is a black paste round ribbon sealer supplied on a 1/4 in × 15 ft roll, designed for sealing and protecting joints in automotive body repair before final coating. Its flexible, self-adhesive formulation provides reliable seam protection on a wide range of substrates.
The product offers excellent sprayability and can be applied in up to ten coats for thick builds. It is compatible with ABS, aluminum, fiberglass, FRP, OEM plastics, primer, SMC, steel, and wood, making it suitable for diverse repair scenarios where a durable sealant is required before painting.
Handling requires eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, and a respirator due to acute toxicity, aspiration hazards, and carcinogenic potential (H066, H210, H304, H372, H400, H410). Use in a well-ventilated area and follow standard SDS precautions.
