Rust Mort™ 69504 Acidic Compound is a 1-qt green formulation designed for aggressive rust removal and surface preparation on automotive body panels and related substrates.
The compound works on bare metal, concrete, plastic, and primer-coated surfaces, delivering high VOC content of 173 g/L for rapid reaction. Its flash point of 100 °C allows safe handling under typical shop temperatures while providing effective acidic action to dissolve rust without excessive heat buildup. The product should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area to maintain stability.
Due to acute toxicity, eye damage, skin corrosion, and aquatic hazards (GHS H314, H318), use requires full PPE: chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, protective clothing, and a respirator.
