Use E-COAT #12 on any e-coated panel, vehicle floor, engine bay, cross members, core supports, door skins. ECOAT #12 can be used as a DTM primer or as a single coating to match the OEM finish.
U-POL E-COAT#12 UP0895 is a white repair aerosol designed for restoring electrocoat primer on vehicle substrates. This 450 mL aerosol provides 17 square feet of coverage and serves as an essential primer for collision repair work where original e-coat protection has been compromised during bodywork or welding operations.
The formula adheres to multiple substrates including steel, aluminum, galvanized metal, fiberglass, SMC, polyester, and existing OEM finishes. Apply 1-2 coats within the recommended temperature range of 40°F to 78°F for optimal adhesion and performance. The aerosol format eliminates mixing requirements and provides consistent spray pattern for efficient application in repair areas.
Ensure adequate ventilation during application and wear appropriate respiratory protection when spraying. Store at recommended temperatures to maintain shelf life and product integrity.
