Engineered for versatility, this catalyst enables adhesion to aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized metal, plastic, existing primer, SMC, and steel substrates with a single coat application. The 570 g/l VOC content requires proper spray booth ventilation and appropriate respiratory protection during application to meet workplace safety standards.
Application Guide
- Prepare substrate by ensuring aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized, plastic, primer, SMC, or steel surfaces are clean and properly abraded per standard body shop procedures.
- Mix epoxy primer catalyst according to manufacturer's specified ratio - use mixed material within 8-hour pot life minimum.
- Apply single coat of catalyzed epoxy primer using spray gun with appropriate tip size and air pressure.
- Allow primer to cure completely before proceeding with additional coats or topcoat application.
