USC® Kromate® 12050 is a lightweight, yellow liquid filler designed for rapid repair of automotive body panels. Formulated for use on a wide range of substrates-including ABS, aluminum, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, polyester, primer, SMC, wood, and standard steel-it provides the versatility needed in high-volume collision shops.
The filler performs best when applied at an average temperature of 200 °F, delivering consistent flow and flash time for efficient sanding and shaping. Its low VOC content (212 g/L) helps meet environmental regulations while maintaining strong adhesion across diverse materials.
Safety is paramount: the product carries a "Warning" signal word with multiple GHS hazards. Use eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well-ventilated area. The estimated flash point is 93.9 °F (34.4 °C).
