What's in the kit

• 12 oz High-Build Primer aerosol — fills 320-grit scratches, sands flat in 30 minutes
• 12 oz 2K Glamour Clearcoat aerosol — internal-hardener activated, cures to a buffable, fuel-resistant gloss
• Tack cloth — final dust pull before every coat
• Scuff pad (gray, ultra-fine) — keys the surrounding clear for the blend
• Nitrile gloves (pair) — keeps skin oils off the panel

The three-step system

Step 1 — Prime: high-build primer over the repair, sand flat with 400–600 grit. Step 2 — Color: your custom-mixed basecoat in 2–3 medium coats. Step 3 — Clear: punch the 2K clear's hardener button, spray 2 wet coats, and let it cure overnight before polishing.

Compatibility

Works under and over both 1K Basecoat and 2K Direct Gloss custom mixes, on properly prepped steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and rigid plastics (use an adhesion promoter on raw plastic).

FAQ

Do I need the kit if I ordered 2K Direct Gloss paint? The clear is optional over 2K color, but the primer and prep supplies still do the heavy lifting for adhesion and finish quality.

How long is the 2K clear usable after activating? Roughly 24–48 hours at room temperature — spray the same day you activate for best gloss.

Is one kit enough for a bumper? One kit covers a typical single-panel repair. For a full bumper respray, add a second clear.
