Right paint code, wrong color? It's usually one of these 4 things #Shorts
Same code, right formula, wrong colour on the car? It's nearly always the light you judged it under, the angle, the variant, or a spray-out card that didn't copy the job. Judge under daylight (about 6,500 K), then under a halogen and a shop LED: two formulas can match under one lamp and part under the next. A metallic is two colours, face and flop. Spray a card first, like the job: the formula's sealer shade, the same gun, distance and flash, because wet reads darker and dry reads lighter. Clear it, dry it, judge it in the panel's plane. Then tint one hit at a time, 10% of that toner's weight, only with toners already in the formula. The whole colour match, lamp to last tint, is the full video on this channel: "Stop Repainting Twice: The Spray-Out Card Rule Every Painter Should Know". Next up: what grit after body filler, every hand-off from 80 to 3000. Follow so you don't miss it.
The renders and the generated video (the card, the spray pass) are illustrations, labelled on screen. The products are real, from our store, and AutofxMart sells them.

Same code, wrong colour? Same code, right formula, wrong colour on the car. It's nearly always the light, the angle, the variant, or a spray-out card that didn't copy the job.
Face and flop A metallic is two colours: bright next to the reflection, dark away from it. Judge it under daylight, sixty-five hundred kelvin, then under a halogen and a shop LED. Two formulas can match under one lamp and part under the next.
Spray a card first So before you tint anything, spray a card. Spray it like the job: the formula's sealer shade, the same gun, distance and flash. A wet coat lays the flakes flat and reads darker; a dry coat reads lighter. Clear it, dry it, and judge it in the panel's plane, under three lights.
The 10 % hit Then tint, one change at a time: a hit is ten percent of that toner's weight in the batch, and only with toners already in the formula. Spray another card. Which variant fooled you? Comment below. The full guide is linked under this Short, and your colour, mixed to your code, is at autofxmart.com. Next up: what grit after body filler, every hand-off. Follow so you don't miss it.
