HOUSE OF KOLOR® SHIMRIN® C2C-KBC07-Q01 is a universal basecoat from the Candy Series, supplied in a 1 qt can. It is formulated for direct application on e-coat, fiberglass, OEM panels, polyester and primer surfaces, providing a consistent foundation for custom color work.
The low-VOC formulation (3.5 lb/gal or 420 g/L) meets stringent emissions standards while delivering the expected coverage of a standard basecoat. The product is mixed with House of Kolor's RU series reducers according to the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring proper flash time and pot life for shop workflow.
Safety: This coating carries a "Danger" signal word and includes acute toxicity, flammability, and respiratory hazards. Use only with eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and an appropriate respirator in a well-ventilated area. The flash point is 16 °C (3 °F).
