The DURAMIX BY SEYMOUR 1410 Heavy Bodied Seam Sealer is a two-component structural adhesive designed for sealing welded seams, panel joints, and body gaps in collision repair applications. This black sealer provides permanent weatherproofing and corrosion protection for critical seam areas that require both flexibility and durability.
With a 1:1 mix ratio, this heavy-bodied formula offers 10-15 minutes of work time and reaches handling strength in 30-45 minutes, allowing efficient workflow management. Full cure is achieved in 6-8 hours. The sealer bonds effectively to multiple substrates including aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, FRP, OEM finishes, primer, and SMC, making it versatile for mixed-material repairs and original equipment restoration work.
