SEM 29362 1K Seam Sealer 10.1 oz White Tube
Built for the job.
SEM® 1K Seam Sealer is a versatile, single component sealer for sealing interior or exterior seams, joints, and voids.
SEM® 29362 is a 1‑component, 10.1 fl‑oz liquid seam sealer formulated for automotive body repair. It is applied to seal panel seams, filler joints, and trim interfaces before primer and paint, delivering a smooth, durable barrier that prevents moisture intrusion and paint defects.
The formula cures to a 4 mm film thickness in 24 hours at 70 °F (21 °C) with a workable flash time of 5–10 minutes, allowing sufficient adjustment before the seal sets. It adheres to a range of substrates including aluminum, steel, OEM pre‑finished panels, and primed surfaces, providing reliable bonding without the need for mixing or catalyst.
Due to its acute toxicity, skin corrosion, and respiratory hazards, use requires full PPE: eye protection, chemical‑resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well‑ventilated area. Follow H315, H319, H335, and H351 first‑aid procedures in case of exposure.

How to Use
For use on properly prepped primed or painted surfaces and bare metal
- Ensure the substrate (aluminum, OEM primer, or steel) is clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, or loose material.
- Shake the 1‑component seam sealer tube thoroughly before use; no mixing ratio is required.
- Apply the sealer with a suitable applicator (brush, roller, or squeeze gun) in a continuous bead, covering the joint fully. One coat is typically sufficient.
- Work within the 5–10 minute work time at 70 °F (21 °C). Adjust ambient temperature if needed to maintain this window.
- Allow the seam to cure for 24 hours at 70 °F (21 °C) to achieve a 4 mm film thickness.
