Application Guide
- Clean and dry the substrate; ensure surfaces such as aluminum, steel, fiberglass, wood, plastic, concrete, OEM parts, primer, or SMC are free of contaminants.
- Apply a uniform first coat of SEM® 29472 2-in-1 Seam Sealer with a brush, roller, or spray gun.
- Work within the specified work time of 20-40 minutes at 70 °F (21 °C) to maintain proper flash time.
- Allow the first coat to cure for 24 hours (4 mm thickness) at 70 °F (21 °C) and 50 % relative humidity before handling or applying additional coats.
- If a second coat is required, repeat application after the initial cure; ensure each subsequent coat also cures 24 hours under the same conditions.
