SEM® 39863 Plastic Adhesion Promoter is a 20 oz aerosol formulated to enhance bond strength between plastics and subsequent coating or repair systems. It is intended for use on plastic substrates prior to applying primers, fillers, or paints in collision repair applications.
The promoter delivers low-VOC performance at 762 g/L while providing uniform coverage that prepares the surface for optimal adhesion. Its formulation is compatible with a wide range of automotive plastics and must be stored in a cool, dry environment to maintain shelf life.
Handling requires full personal protective equipment: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas.
