SEM® 40463 Low VOC Undercoating is a black aerosol spray designed for rapid protection and corrosion resistance on vehicle undercarriages, chassis components, and structural repairs. The 24-oz can delivers a uniform film that seals seams and joints before final coating or paint application.
The formulation adheres to aluminum, fiberglass, OEM primer, SMC, steel and other typical body shop substrates in just one to two coats, providing consistent coverage with minimal overspray. Its low VOC composition reduces odor while maintaining the durability required for long-term protection in harsh environments.
Because the product contains acute toxicity, flammable gases, and respiratory hazards, use only in a well-ventilated area with appropriate personal protective equipment: safety glasses or face shield, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator rated for organic vapors. Follow all H-statements (H222, H280, H301, H304, H315, H319, H335, H340) and first-aid procedures as outlined in the SDS.
