Dual-Mix™ Door Skin and SMC Adhesive is a two-component epoxy that quickly bonds any combination of steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and SMC.
Dual-Mix™ 39337 is a two-component panel adhesive supplied in a 7 oz cartridge, formulated for high-strength bonding of panels and structural repairs. It is designed for use on a wide range of substrates including aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, OEM plastics, primer, SMC, and steel.
The system provides a 60-minute work window with flash set in approximately 30 minutes, allowing ample placement time. Sandable after 15 minutes, the adhesive reaches full cure in 48 hours while maintaining zero VOC emissions. Its formulation delivers exceptional impact resistance and reliable adhesion across all listed materials.
Due to its acute toxicity profile, operators must wear eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well-ventilated area. Follow H301, H314, H317, H318, H335, H341, H351, and H361 hazard statements for safe handling.

How to Use
For MIG or STRSW welding
- Clean and degrease the substrate; ensure it is one of the compatible materials (aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, OEM plastic, primer, SMC, steel).
- Apply the adhesive with a suitable dispensing gun. The product provides 60 min of work time.
- If additional coats are required, apply them within the 30 min open-time window before the adhesive begins to set.
- Allow the bond to become sandable after approximately 15 min; then lightly sand as needed before final handling.
- Full cure is achieved after 48 hr at ambient temperature. Do not subject the joint to load or finish work until this time has elapsed.
