Dual-Mix™ Panel Vibration Control Material is a two-component, epoxy and urethane blend for reducing noise and vibration on roof skins and intrusion beams.
Dual-Mix™ 39977 Panel Vibration Control Material is a 7-oz liquid cartridge formulated to dampen panel vibration and improve surface flatness before final finish work. It is applied at 70 °F with an open-time of 60 minutes, providing ample working time for complex panels.
The material delivers professional results on a wide range of substrates including aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, carbon fiber, fiberglass, FRP, e-coat, OEM plastics, polyester, wood and primed surfaces. It is zero-VOC and has a flash point of 257 °C, ensuring stable handling under shop conditions.
Because the formulation contains acute toxicity, carcinogenic, and respiratory hazards, operators must wear eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator. Use in a well-ventilated area and follow H312, H314, H317, H318, H334, H335, H351, and H361 safety statements.

How to Use
For use on plastic, primed or painted surfaces and metal
- Clean and dry the substrate (aluminum, steel, fiberglass, etc.) to remove oil, grease, and loose material.
- Confirm ambient temperature is 70 °F (21 °C) for a 60-minute pot life.
- Shake the 7 oz cartridge thoroughly before use; no mixing ratio required.
- Apply a uniform thin coat with a brush, roller, or spray gun.
- Allow the material to flash for up to 60 minutes at 70 °F before handling.
- If additional coverage is needed, apply a second coat after the flash time has elapsed.
- Let the final coat cure completely; full cure occurs after the recommended flash period.
