Dual-Mix™ Quick Set 20 is a very fast, two-component, opaque, urethane adhesive designed for bumper tab repair and bonding most small plastic, steel and aluminum parts.
Dual-Mix™ 40207 Quick Set 20 is a two-component urethane adhesive supplied in a 7 oz solid, opaque cartridge. It is designed for rapid bonding of structural panels and repair inserts where a fast-setting, high-impact bond is required.
The formulation reaches full cure in 48 hours with an initial sandable window at 15 minutes, giving technicians ample time to shape joints before finishing. A work (flash) time of 60 minutes supports complex assemblies, and the adhesive adheres to a broad range of substrates-including aluminum, steel, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, OEM plastics, primers, and SMC-making it suitable for most body shop applications.
Handling requires strict safety controls: wear eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator. The material is classified with acute toxicity, carcinogenicity, and skin corrosion hazards (GHS H315, H317, H319, H334, H335, H351, H373). Use in a well-ventilated area and follow first-aid procedures for inhalation, skin, or eye contact.

How to Use
For MIG or STRSW welding
- Clean and dry the substrate (aluminum, steel, fiberglass, plastic, etc.) to remove oil, grease, and loose particles.
- Mix the two components of Dual-Mix™ 40207 as specified on the cartridge; use within the 60 min work time.
- Apply a uniform coat with a suitable applicator. The adhesive becomes sandable after approximately 15 minutes.
- Allow the bond to fully cure for 48 hours before subjecting it to load or further processing.
