How to Use
For bonding and cosmetic repair
- Clean the substrate (carbon fiber, fiberglass, OEM plastic, SMC) to remove dust, grease, and loose material.
- Dispense the Dual-Mix™ 40887 from the 7 oz cartridge and mix according to the manufacturer's instructions; work time is 35 minutes at 70 °F (21 °C).
- Apply the mixed material in a single coat, shaping as needed for the repair.
- Allow the part to air-dry for up to 3 hours at 70 °F (21 °C) before handling or sanding.
- Clean any excess material from tools and surrounding areas with an appropriate solvent while still wet.
