TRANSTAR® Mul-TIE 1033 is a liquid adhesion promoter supplied in a 16 oz aerosol can, formulated for use on a wide range of substrates before applying primers, topcoats, or sealants. It is designed to improve bond strength and wet-out on aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM panels, plastics, polyester, SMC, and standard steel surfaces.
Apply two uniform coats to achieve consistent coverage; the promoter's low VOC content of 4.78 lb/gal (573 g/L) helps meet emissions regulations while maintaining performance. The aerosol delivery ensures even distribution and rapid flash time, facilitating efficient workflow in high-volume body shop environments.
Safety is critical: the product carries a "Warning" signal word and includes acute toxicity, aspiration hazard, and flammability warnings. Use eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in a well-ventilated area.
