U-POL UP0779 High Adhesion SMC Bonding Filler is a 1.1 L white paste formulated for structural repairs on steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, fiberglass and primer-coated surfaces. It provides a strong mechanical bond to SMC (sheet molding compound) and other composite substrates, making it ideal for high-stress filler applications in collision repair.
The filler offers low VOC emissions at 176 g/L and a flash point of 32 °C, supporting safe handling in shop environments. Its formulation is compatible with a wide range of substrates-including steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, fiberglass and primer-allowing versatile use without additional primers. The batch coding system ensures traceable shelf life for consistent performance.
Due to its classification as acute toxicity, aspiration hazard, carcinogen, flammable liquid and skin corrosive, appropriate PPE is required: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing and a respirator. Use adequate ventilation and follow H226, H315, H319, H332, H351, H361 and H372 safety statements.
