Promotes paint adhesion to most automotive surfaces, like plastics, aluminum, galvanized metal, zinc, painted surfaces, fiberglass and even body fillers. Replaces the need to abrade surfaces in hard-to-sand areas, like under hoods and deck lids.
U-POL UP0799 Universal Adhesion Promoter Paint is a 400 mL aerosol formulated to improve bond strength between primers, paints and a wide range of body shop substrates. It is applied as a single or dual coat primer enhancer before topcoat application.
The promoter performs at an ambient application temperature of 68 °F and adheres to aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM finishes, plastics, standard primers, SMC and conventional steel surfaces. Apply 1-2 coats to achieve consistent wet film thickness; the aerosol format ensures even coverage without runoff.
Safety classification is "Warning" with multiple GHS hazards including acute toxicity, flammability and respiratory irritation. Use eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing and a respirator in a well-ventilated area. Follow H222, H225, H226, H229, H304, H312, H315 and H319 precautionary statements.
