U-POL Guard #10 Gravi-Gard Stone Chip Protector is a gray, textured aerosol coating designed to protect finished panels from stone chip damage and minor abrasions. Formulated for spray application, it provides a durable sacrificial layer that can be removed or repainted without affecting the underlying finish.
The product delivers up to 43 sq-ft of coverage per 450 mL can when applied at an ambient temperature of 68 °F. It adheres to a wide range of substrates, including aluminum, bare metal, e-coat, fiberglass, galvanized steel, OEM plastics, primers, SMC and standard automotive steel. Recommended application calls for one to two coats, allowing the coating to flash quickly due to its low flash point of -60 °C.
Handling requires full PPE: eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas. The formulation is classified with multiple GHS hazards (acute toxicity, aspiration risk, carcinogen, flammable, etc.) and must be stored according to the provided safety data sheet.
