Use E-COAT #12 on any e-coated panel, vehicle floor, engine bay, cross members, core supports, door skins. ECOAT #12 can be used as a DTM primer or as a single coating to match the OEM finish.
U-POL E-COAT#12 UP0891 is a single-component repair aerosol designed to restore OEM e-coat protection on bare metal and prepared substrates. This gray primer provides 59 square feet of coverage per 450 mL can, making it ideal for spot repairs, weld-through applications, and corrosion protection in collision repair environments.
The formula bonds to multiple substrates including steel, aluminum, galvanized metal, fiberglass, SMC, and existing primer surfaces. Apply 1-2 coats within the 40°F to 78°F temperature range for optimal adhesion and film build. The aerosol delivery system ensures consistent application and eliminates the need for spray equipment setup on smaller repair areas.
Use in well-ventilated areas with appropriate respiratory protection. Follow proper surface preparation procedures and ensure substrates are clean and free of contaminants before application.
