USC® 7400-5 is a two-component clearcoat supplied in a 5 L liquid can, mixed at a 2:1 ratio (2 parts USC 7400 Euro Clearcoat 4.4 VOC to 1 part hardener). It is designed for final topcoats on e-coat and plastic substrates, providing a high-gloss, durable finish in automotive refinishing applications.
The formulation offers a pot life of up to 2 hours at 72 °F (22 °C), allowing ample working time before flash. Coverage is rated at 600 sq ft per mil thickness, enabling efficient material use on large panels. The clearcoat cures to a hard, chemically resistant surface that meets the demands of collision repair and OEM-level finishes.
