The formulation cures to full strength in 24 hours at temperatures between 25 °F and 180 °F, offering reliable performance across a wide range of shop conditions. With a VOC content of 9.8 lb/gal, it is suitable for use on aluminum, bare metal, and primed substrates, delivering consistent coverage from a 310 mL cartridge.
Due to its classification as an acute toxicity, carcinogen, and skin-corrosive material, appropriate personal protective equipment-gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator-is required. How to Use
For sealing of seams to prevent intrusion of water, dust, air, fumes, may be used for interior or exterior seams of primer coated substrates
- Clean the substrate (aluminum, bare metal, or primed surface) to remove oil, grease, and loose material.
- Verify ambient temperature is between 25 °F and 180 °F before application.
- Dispense the 1-component paste directly from the cartridge and apply a continuous bead to the seam using a suitable applicator.
- Allow the sealer to cure for 24 hours at the same temperature range before handling or painting.
