MATRIX MP-233-Q01 is a low-VOC DTM surface/sealer formulated for use as a primer surfacer in collision repair applications. Mixed at a 4:1:1 ratio by volume, it provides a uniform base coat that prepares aluminum, e-coat, fiberglass, OEM panels, plastic, steel and other primed substrates for subsequent finish coats.
The product offers a flash time of 10-15 minutes and a sandable window of 60-90 minutes, allowing rapid progression to sanding and finishing. With an application rate that yields 15-25 coats per quart, it delivers consistent coverage while maintaining low VOC emissions for shop compliance.
Safety is governed by a "Warning" signal word; the formulation presents acute toxicity, aspiration hazards, and skin/eye irritation risks. Application Guide
