Polyvance Bumper & Cladding Coat™ 3601-1 Adhesion Primer is a medium-viscosity, pourable liquid formulated for bonding and sealing automotive bumpers, claddings, and related exterior panels. Delivered in a one-gallon can, it provides a light gray base coat that promotes adhesion of subsequent polyester or urethane topcoats.
The primer is compatible with e-coat, OEM finishes, plastic substrates, polyester fillers, and existing primers, delivering uniform coverage while maintaining a low VOC level of 6.3 lb/gal (755 g/L). Its formulation ensures reliable wet adhesion and helps prevent delamination on complex geometries.
Use in a well-ventilated area and wear eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator as required by the SDS. The product is classified as "Warning" with acute toxicity, eye damage, and flammability hazards (H226, H317, H320).
