How to Use
For spot, panel, multi-panel refinishing
- Ensure the e-coat substrate is free of contaminants, dust, and oils before coating.
- Mix clearcoat and hardener at a 4:1 volume ratio (four parts clearcoat to one part hardener). Mix thoroughly; pot life is 5 hours at 78 °F (25.6 °C).
- Apply the first coat using spray equipment calibrated to achieve approximately 0.5 mil wet film thickness.
- Flash time between coats is 8-10 minutes. Apply a second coat to reach a total dry film thickness of 1.0 mil (coverage ~455 sq ft per gallon).
- Allow the final cure according to shop standards after the last flash period; no additional cleanup instructions are provided.
