Valspar IMU-TB559-G13 is a high-gloss polyurethane enamel supplied in a 1 gal liquid form for clear topcoat applications on automotive bodies. It is designed for professional body shop use where a durable, UV-stable finish is required over primed or e-coated substrates.
The enamel offers a flash time of 10-15 minutes (or until the previous coat is non-stringing) and reaches tack-free status in approximately 2 hours. Recoat can be performed after 16 hours, allowing overnight turnaround for multi-coat builds. It adheres to aluminum, galvanized steel, OEM primers, e-coat, and standard steel surfaces, providing a versatile solution for most vehicle panels. Unopened containers retain performance for at least 24 months when stored under normal conditions.
